"We had all packed up and moved in with my Grandmother, waiting for him to come home to head off to Hawaii. On Christmas Eve 1965 that all changed. My father has never been found so we've been in limbo for 36 years. So the Memorial for our family, that's where we go and honor him for his birthday and father's day and veteran's day and to us that's his final resting place. Its been enormously helpful it was this place where I could go and channel all these emotions and all these feelings. I went there the day before I asked my wife to marry me, you know, kind of like to touch base with my father. So I think its been important personally. It's a great memorial."
